Sai Gon – Vinh Long – Tra Vinh – Soc Trang - Can Tho –
Long Xuyen – Sa Dec – Sai Gon
(5 days)
Day1: Sai Gon - Cai Be – An Binh island (riding distance: 20km)
Pick up at Cai Be boat to see floating market, popcorn, rice-paper and coconut candy making, boat to An Binh island, cycling around island, overnight at homestay. (B,L,D)
Day 2: An Binh island – Mo Cay - Tra vinh (Cycling distance: 65km)
Check out homestay, ride on the village road to see fruit garden, canals lunch in small local restaurant in Mo Cay, ride to Co Chien ferry, cross the river, ride to Tra Vinh, check in hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Tra Vinh – Tieu Can – Cau Quan – Dai Ngai – Soc Trang (Cycling distance: 65 Km)
Check out hotel, ride to Tieu Can, on the way stop to visit Khmer pagoda, Khmer village, see rice field, lunch in local restaurant or in local house in Cau Quan, take ferry to Dai Ngai, keep riding to Soc Trang overnight at 3* hotel (B,L,D)
Day 4: Soc Trang – Ke Sach – Can Tho(Cycling distance: 75 Km)
The day start with Soc Trang city tour, ride around the small town to visit Khleang Pagoda it is a Khmer well-known ancient pagoda in Mekong delta.
Visit Dat Set (Clay) Pagoda which is famous for its collection of colorful clay statues. This is a family pagoda so there is no monk living here. It is kept by members of the Ngo family who founded the pagoda over 100 years ago. At present, Ngo Kim Tong is the forth generation of the family who presides over the pagoda.
Start to ride along countryside road to visit rice field, vegetable farm, sweet potato farm….
Lunch at local cafe in Ke Sach village. Keep riding along villages to Can Tho. On the way you will see animal farming such as duck, buffalo…. Check in homestay in Can Tho. Over night and dinner at homestay(B,L,D)
Day 5: Can Tho – Long Xuyen (Cycling distance: 55km)
Early morning, boat to visit Cai Rang floating market, then boat will take you to Binh Minh where you will ride bicycle along countryside back to hotel, check out, ride to Can Tho ferry, cross river, ride along Mekong river, to Vam Cong ferry, cross river to Long Xuyen, check in hotel (B,L,D)
Day 6: Long Xuyen – Sa Dec – sai gon (Cycling distance: 40km)
Cross river by ferry, ride along Lap vo canal to Sa Dec, visit Cao Dai temple, flower garden, stop for lunch before back to Sai Gon by bus. (B,L)
